The Crown Bridges is a tramway to be built in Helsinki, which is urban development at its best. One example of this is the Tekla BIM Awards Finland 2024, which was awarded to the Kruunuvuorensilta. Urban development will be done in the Crown Bridges project as well as demanding infrastructure construction and it will provide a sustainable way for citizens to get around. In addition to the tramway, the project will build several bridges, renew and construct street infrastructure, do water works and shoreline construction, and repair sewers, water and electricity pipes and telecommunications cables, among other things.

We built a new dam on Lake Mjåvatn to replace the old dam built in the 1940s. In addition to building the dam, YIT will also excavated a tunnel in the area that is about 500 metres long.

We built the Atlantinsilta bridge in Jätkäsaari for the City of Helsinki. The bridge serves both local residents and passengers arriving at the West Terminal. There are lanes for trams and cars on the bridge.

We reconstructed the Ship Stevedoring Company’s container terminal Klaipėdos Smeltė in port city Klaipėda as a part of the company’s development program for 2015-2023.

We built a new concrete quay in Stockholm that will better serve the Stockholm's archipelago boats.

In the stunning scenery of Western Norway, we built hydropower plants for energy company Småkraft. The construction site could only be accessed by boat or helicopter, which added its own challenges to the contract.

In our project at the Södra Kajen quay, contract ordered by the City of Stockholm, we demolished the oil quay constructed in late 1800s and replaced it with infrastructure for the designed residential area.

We demolished the old Kalajoki railway bridges and replaced them with new tensioned, continuous beam concrete-structure bridges, the superstructures of which were joined with a second stage concrete lane in 2017 so that they form a single bridge. The contract forms part of the Seinäjoki–Oulu railway project.
