Kupittaan kärki Partnership Project, Turku
We are building a new production and technology centre for Hitachi Energy in the Vikby industrial area in Korsholm.
We are building Hitachi Energy's new production and technology centre in the Vikby industrial area as a project management contract. The nature of the project form includes the coordination of design, different work phases and the client's installations.
In the project, we will implement state-of-the-art product development, testing and office premises for electrical and automation systems, as well as a state-of-the-art transformer production and testing centre and the construction of ancillary buildings with earthworks and building technology works. A geothermal solution is implemented for the property and we also ensure high-quality indoor conditions.
The new centre doubles the production capacity of Hitachi Energy's transformers and supports Finland's electricity security as well as the export of clean energy technology.
The scope of the project is approximately 44,000 square meters and the contract amount of the project is approximately 105 million euros.
Construction work began in 2024 and the project will be completed at the beginning of 2027.
