Kupittaan kärki Partnership Project, Turku
YIT’s first self-developed wind power project was sold to Suomen Hyötytuuli Oy complete with the required permits.
The project consisted of seven wind power plants with a total capacity of approximately 45 MW. The project area of the wind farm is approximately 750 hectares.
“Peuralinna is a good investment for Hyötytuuli. Together with our adjoining wind farm project of the same size in Alajoki, they enable efficient construction and wind power production in the area,” says Toni Sulameri, Managing Director of Suomen Hyötytuuli Oy.
We also develop and acquire permits for other wind farms to make sure they are ready to be sold. YIT has implemented more than 100 wind power plant foundations with a turnkey model, which includes planning as well as constructed other infrastructure related to wind farms such as road networks, lifting areas and electrical engineering in Finland and Sweden.
Wind power is an growing method of electricity production in the world, and YIT contributes to developing renewable energy forms with its own wind power projects, innovative infrastructure solutions for wind farms and a service concept that covers the entire life-cycle of wind power plants.
